Draft, pending legal review.

This is a plain-language draft written ahead of launch so the page isn't blank. It has not been reviewed by counsel and does not make binding legal commitments. It will be replaced with a lawyer-reviewed version before real payments open.

What we collect

To run the presale waitlist and (once accounts open) the product itself, we collect: the email address you give us, your account activity (what you save, restore and hand off), and basic technical logs (IP address, timestamps, request metadata) needed to operate and secure the service.

What we never collect

Renest is built around a hard rule we don't bend: your cloud provider credentials or storage bucket master keys never touch our servers. The pod agent that captures and restores your runs only ever holds a scoped, revocable drive token — not your RunPod, Vast, or bucket account keys.

Where your data lives

Account and metadata records live in our database provider (Postgres, hosted on Neon). The bytes of what you save — models, workflows, dependency locks — live in object storage (Cloudflare R2), filed by each file's checksum, so every file can be checked when it is restored.

Who else sees it

We use a small set of infrastructure vendors to run the service: Cloudflare (storage, CDN, DNS), Neon (database), and Resend (transactional email — verification codes, hand-off notices). We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else for marketing purposes.

Cookies and sessions

We set one cookie to keep you signed in to the web console. We don't run third-party ad-tracking pixels on this site.

Your controls

  • You can delete anything you've saved from the web console; deleted items sit in a trash window first, and stay recoverable until that window ends.
  • You can close your account from Settings at any time; that switches off every access code straight away. What you stored is kept for 30 days — tell us within those 30 days and we will reopen the account — and is then erased for good, files included. If you would rather not wait, tick the box when you close and we start erasing right away.
  • Erasing removes your account details, your nests and the files in them. Two things stay: records we are required to keep (payment and commission records), and a file whose identical copy someone else also holds — that copy is theirs, so it stays until they let it go too.
  • Hand-offs (private asset transfers) are never public links — only someone with the hand-off code can claim one.
  • One thing we cannot erase on request: our email provider (Resend) keeps its own delivery records — which address we sent to, and whether it arrived. Those records expire on their own 30 days after each send.
  • Our servers keep request logs for 30 days and then delete them. Those logs record the request and the time, not your IP address — requests reach us through Cloudflare, so what our servers see is Cloudflare, not you.
